This Privacy Policy explains how Localspacs ("Cleo", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares information about you when you visit takecleo.com or purchase our products.

2.1 Information We Collect

  • Contact and account data: name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address
  • Order data: products purchased, order history, subscription preferences
  • Payment data: processed by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers on our servers
  • Communications: messages you send to customer support, product reviews, survey responses

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, time spent

Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we process personal data on the following bases: performance of a contract (order fulfillment), legitimate interests (fraud prevention, service improvement, direct marketing to existing customers), consent (marketing to new subscribers, non-essential cookies), and legal obligation (tax records).

2.4 How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it with:

  • Service providers who perform functions on our behalf: payment processing, subscription management, order fulfillment, shipping, email delivery, customer support and analytics
  • Advertising partners for measurement and targeted advertising, which may constitute "sharing" or a "sale" under certain state privacy laws. See Section 2.8 for your opt-out rights

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy. Order and transaction records are retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law, typically seven to ten years. Marketing data is retained until you withdraw consent or opt out. Account data is deleted upon verified request, subject to legal retention requirements.

2.6 Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, analyze traffic and deliver relevant advertising. Categories used:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the Site and checkout to function. Cannot be disabled
  • Performance and analytics — help us understand how visitors use the Site
  • Advertising — used to measure campaign performance and show relevant ads

2.7 Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
  • Opt out of targeted advertising
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

2.8 California Residents

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, California residents have the rights listed in Section 2.7. In the preceding twelve months we have collected the categories of personal information described

in Section 2.1 and disclosed them for the business purposes described in Section 2.4.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. However, our use of advertising cookies may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. To opt out, email support.cleo@gmail.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information", or use the opt-out link in the Site footer.

You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf, subject to verification.

2.9 Other US State Privacy Laws

Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights, including the right to appeal a denied request. To appeal, reply to our response or email support.cleo@gmail.com with the subject line "Privacy Appeal".

2.10 International Data Transfers

We are established in Germany and serve customers in the United States. Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved transfer mechanisms.

2.11 Children's Privacy

Our products and Site are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact support.cleo@gmail.com and we will delete it.

2.12 Security

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

2.13 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be announced on the Site and, where required, by email. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision.
